My resume is full of fashion retail positions. I mean how do you think I got here? Most of my working career was spent in the clothing department. I spent a great amount of time slanging clothing to the shopping addicted.
I had always been consumed with a love of shopping for clothing. I never took the extra time to think about shoes. I did love to buy shoes, but I would find the cheapest ones possible. I would sacrifice the quality of the shoes, to dedicate the remaining money to a extra top, or skirt. That is, until the glory of being an employee of a shoe boutique. Being surrounded with wonderful, supple leather, all the time. The smell of new shoes intoxicated me.
